How to stay organized in 2010!

Organizing is one of the things that I effortlessly do great!
However, this happens to be the area where many struggle. When you finally find one thing that was missing, you then lose another. It can be tough trying to keep up with everything. Especially with 2010 being around the corner, it is good to have a fresh new start/ Here are a few tips and ideas on how to keep organized for 2010!

Clean Your House:

When you clean up your home, you are most than likely going to find things that you forgot you had and things that were lost.
Believe me, I know.
(Cough: my room) Do not be afraid of the dust or the things you may find.

Storage Bins & Storage shelves:

This is one of the best ways to get rid of clutter.
The storage bins can easily slide under your bed, depending on the size.
If your very fashionable and do not want to be old school, you can get very stylish bins and shelves from stores like walmart and home depot. etc. If you are eco friendly maybe going to a site like http://www.modernecohomes.com/accents/office/storage-organizers/
can be a start!

Make A Note:

Make sure you write a note to yourself that will help you remember something that you will not forget.
Maybe put the note on your door, so you'll see it before you leave.

Box it:

Do it the old fashion way and just put all of the items that you no longer need, into boxes.
You can put your boxes in your garage or rent a storage center to put all of the boxes.
Make sure you stack your boxes neatly!

Garage Sell:

If you are a packrat like myself, it will probably be really hard to let some of your things that are precious to you go. However, in the long run this will be great for you. Not only will you earn a little extra doe to pay off your bills but you will be clutter free in the end. Post signs in your neighborhood with directions and maybe your phone number, you can also take fliers to your job or post on a social network site, like facebook or myspace etc.

Calendar:

I also suggest maybe using a calendar to help you remember certain things.
You can circle the day, put the time there and write what it is that you need to remember to get done.

Weekly Schedule Spread sheet:

You can make a spread sheet and print it out and post it on your fridge, eventually your going to have to eat anyway.
This will help you remember what you need to get done and when you need to get it done.
